-(1999-2000)- Mechanical Estimator & Project manager for Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical. Consisting of technical advisor for fellow employees customer’s to ensure they get the best quality terms showing & explaining their problem whether it is major or minor. Pricing replacement units or parts taking time days later to return to project to make sure everything is operational to their satisfaction.

Pricing equipment in a multitude of ranges, which is affordable to customers.

At Moore’s a small service department. I took their sales from mere $150.000.00a year to $600,000.00. In 6 ˝ months secured a multitude of customers, such as Eriksson, Sweet Briar Collage, Cato’s Women fashion’s First Virginia Banks, & BMX- and many more.

Reason for leaving, ten of us were laid off for downsizing & our office building in Lynchburg, VA was sold.

My strongest ability is my customer relations making them a part of a working family and being a part of our team.

My goal for Moore’s was set at $300,000.00 per year but pasted that set. my personal goal for $ 1,500,000.00 for my first year there for service department.

Also was called into manage, and my men, multimillion dollar jobs.

At Moore’s at times, I supervised over 27 technicians. Also I’d always lend a helping hand to send one or two to other jobs.

 

-(1993-1999) Owner of "Chip’s heating & Air. Appomattox, VA – Owner of Chip’s heating & Air. Started Chips heating & Air in 1993. Took small self-owned business with one truck, one helper, and virtually had all the work that the two of us could do. Whether it is residential or commercial. Operated out of home. In six years took two men operation to $ 500,000.00. Per year.

My ability with customers was over whelming. I sold business due to promises from Moore’s. Intern took all commercial accounts their, and some residential. Which went all over the world, and it was picked up by another trade’s magazine of my customer awareness, and my technical ability.

-(1990-1993) Service Technician- Weather conditioners- Lynchburg Va, - Servicing commercial and residential units. Somewhat promoted to sales of same.

-(1982 –1990) Latchford service- took over fathers business after he passed away. Which in turn we did electrical, Plumbing, & HVAC for residential & commercial, building very profitable business at the time over $ 750,000.00.

-(1979 –1982) Southern Air- Lynchburg, VA – Service technician- Work directly for "Jim Evans" as his project technician, supervising other technicians on projects of replacing, commercial units, and scheduling & customer relationship. Also contracting new potential customers for "Southern Air". At the time I was at Southern Air, Myself & other technicians did the largest job ever done by southern air in the service department. One Job- $800,000.00 for Southern railroad. Was there start to finish, and I with their head inspector on close out of jobs & building inspector.
